A matter of life and death

Experience a more intense gameplay

Counter-Strike Global Offensive is made more challenging and compact compared to other Counter-Strike games but those who are long-time fans of the series will feel right at home. Alongside new maps, the game also continues to feature the old maps from previous games but do not expect them to be exactly the same. A few changes have been applied in some areas and parts of these old maps in order to give players a more challenging gaming experience. These new tweaks in the maps also make the playing field equal and fair both for long-time players and first-timers. It adds to the unpredictability of the game, which makes the battles more intense, not to mention the added suspense brought by having no extra lives. In Counter-Strike Global Offensive, you cannot afford to be complacent because death is the endgame for you. There is no such thing as second chances so you will have to always be on your guard unless you want to be out of the round early. With that said, you should know that the game has three modes that you can play. 

The first game mode you can try is a simple bomb defusing mission where terrorist and anti-terrorist groups will work to eradicate the other team’s members alongside the mission to either protect the bomb or defuse it. The round ends when one team is completely annihilated or if defusing or protecting the bomb has been successful. The second game mode players can have a go at is a rescue mission in a hostage-taking case. Again, the two opposing teams will take on the roles of rescuers or hostage-takers. Regardless of which team you choose, coordinated team play is the key to success. Keep in mind that death is permanent in the game and your teammates have no ability to revive you so do not be too blindsided by your goal. Always be on the lookout for yourself while also watching your team’s back. 

Enjoy cool weapons

Playing Counter-Strike Global Offensive gives you the chance to try out various weaponry throughout the gameplay. Although the game will not let you purchase weapons in-between rounds, you can expand your artillery by earning guns in the third game mode called Arms Race. In here, players are given much more freedom compared to the first two modes. For instance, compared to the first two game modes, players who die here are able to respawn. However, the main purpose of this game is for you to be able to earn new guns by killing your opponents. Each successful kill earns players one brand new weapon that they can use in the other game modes.

A breathless gameplay

 Counter-Strike Global Offensive has a fast-paced gameplay where gun firing skills are not the only ones you will need in order to survive. With its heart-pounding terrorist and hostage rescue missions, players will also be challenged to use their brains in order to come up with an effective plan in order to win.
